Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, lived a terrifying ogre named Larry. Terrifying? I'm making lunch. Larry! The evil little lord has stolen the kingdom's golden sausage. He stole? What? Dude, get off. Larry, what are you doing? Perfect grilling temperature. Larry! That's your weapon? Trust me. Who's a good dragon? Hardclaw! Give me the sausage! You'll never have it. That's my princess. Larry, this priceless treasure belongs to the entire kingdom. Larry! What you can't eat a trophy? And they lived happily ever after, except for the golden sausage.

Why do my sausages burst open when I cook them?
Sausages split because water inside turns to steam faster than the casing can stretch. Cook over medium heat, start them cold, turn them every 2 to 3 minutes, and never go straight from freezer to hot fire. Do not prick them — that fixes the split by draining the flavor.
