Full transcript
Good afternoon. 2 pounds of your best Italian sausage. Actually, we're sold out. Excuse me? No sausage. Completely sold out. Oh, shit. Larry, stay calm. I came all the way down here for sausage. We have chicken? Chicken? Uh-oh. Larry's going blue. You really don't want to see what happens next. What the hell is that? Larry needs his sausage. Larry, there's a door! Who's honking? Where is my sausage? Somebody find me a sausage before blue Larry destroys the city! Jackpot! Larry! Sausage? Come get it, big guy. Feel better? Much. Next time we're calling ahead. Probably smart. That one wasn't me.

Red Pepper or Green Pepper
A rain-slicked city, two agents in leather, and a man in a chair offering Larry the choice every cook eventually faces: red pepper or green pepper. He takes both, and the sausage starts falling like code.
Quick answer
Is it cheaper to make your own Italian sausage?
Yes, usually. Pork shoulder runs $2.50 to $4 per pound versus $5 to $8 for store links, so homemade costs roughly half — about $3 per pound all in with spices and casings. A grinder attachment pays for itself after about 25 pounds.
