Full transcript
A candlelit formal dining room sits set for company, complete with a floral centerpiece and wine glasses. Larry, in a dark suit, waits with a beer bottle while Sally, in a burgundy dress, greets arriving guests at the big front door. Larry carries in a large platter of food with another bottle in hand as the guests settle in. Around the long table, a guest in a crisp suit and tie sips red wine while Sally reacts with wide-eyed surprise and the suited guest stares unimpressed as Larry holds court with his beer. The evening settles into a full table of formally dressed guests eating and drinking under the chandelier.
More Uncle Larry short films

The Toast
A black-tie party in a glowing house full of champagne and string lights gets an uninvited guest: Larry, in a suit, holding a beer bottle like a microphone. Sally covers her face, the tuxedos turn around, and somehow Larry still ends up in the middle of the room raising a glass with everybody.

Tiger by the Tailgate
Larry and Sally hike a sunlit jungle trail in full safari kit and come back with a third guest for the cookout: a tiger. Beers in hand, sausage and peppers on the grill, and the biggest cat in the jungle leaning in for a sniff — this tailgate has a strict no-sudden-movements policy.

The Neon Protocol
Larry and Sally suit up in powered armor with one more soldier and take the fight into a burning neon megacity. Rain, holograms, a mech in the lobby and a penthouse full of people who did not invite them: the only way out is straight through the top floor. For once, the grill stays home.

Quick answer
What should I serve for an Italian Sunday dinner?
A classic Italian Sunday dinner runs in courses: an antipasto (a board or marinated olives), a first course of pasta or Sunday gravy, a meat course with a simple side, and a small dessert with coffee. Keep portions modest per course and do the slow cooking in the morning.
